After experiencing recruitment from nearly every perspective imaginable, we realized there was a huge gap between the advice PNMs receive and what actually happens behind the scenes. That's why we created Bids in Bloom. Our mission is simple: to give you the confidence, preparation and insider knowledge we wish every PNM had before walking into recruitment.
We're not here to help you become someone you're not. We're here to help you become the best version of yourself, so the chapters can see exactly who you are. Because when you're genuinely prepared, confidence follows. And that's where the magic happens. 🌸
Meet Stephanie
For more than 30 years, Stephanie has been passionate about helping young women find confidence through sorority recruitment. She began her sorority journey by initiating at the University of Kentucky, where she experienced the fast-paced, highly competitive SEC recruitment process firsthand. She later transferred to San Diego State University, where she served as Chapter President and held multiple positions on the Recruitment Board.
After graduation, Stephanie worked for her sorority's National Headquarters, where she advised more than 50 chapters nationwide on recruitment strategy, gaining a behind-the-scenes perspective on what makes recruitment successful at every level.
Having experienced recruitment from nearly every perspective, Stephanie understands what happens long before a PNM walks through the doors and long after conversations end. She knows what creates meaningful connections, what chapters are truly looking for and how to help PNMs feel prepared while staying authentic to who they are.
More than anything, Stephanie knows firsthand what it takes to receive a bid to your dream sorority. She combines decades of experience with insider recruitment knowledge to help PNMs stand out while staying true to themselves.
Meet Gracie
Not long ago, Gracie was sitting exactly where you are now: counting down the days until recruitment, wondering what to wear, what to say and hoping she would find the chapter where she truly belonged. After experiencing recruitment as a PNM, she spent three years recruiting on the other side, serving on her sorority's Recruitment Board and gaining firsthand insight into what chapters are truly looking for.
After graduating from Texas Christian University with a degree in Communication Studies, Gracie built a career in public relations and social media marketing, where she learned how to help people communicate with confidence and authenticity. Today, she brings those same skills into recruitment coaching, helping PNMs discover their story instead of trying to memorize the "perfect" answer.
Think of Gracie as the big sister you wish you had during recruitment. She's recently been in your shoes, understands exactly how exciting and overwhelming the process can feel and is always happy to answer the questions you might feel silly asking. Whether it's preparing for conversations, deciding what to wear, navigating difficult moments or simply giving you a confidence boost before a round, she's there to cheer you on every step of the way.
Her goal is simple: to help every PNM walk into recruitment feeling prepared, confident and truly excited for what's ahead. Because every girl deserves the chance to run home to the chapter that feels like home.
